Ingredients

  • 300g Hazelnuts
  • 50g NUA Naturals Cacao Powder
  • 50g NUA Naturals Cacao Nibs
  • 50g NUA Naturals Cacao Butter
  • 50g NUA Naturals Lucuma Powder
  • 50g Pitted Dates
  • 60ml NUA Naturals Agave Nectar
For the dusting
  • 35g NUA Naturals Cacao powder
For the frosting
  • 120g NUA Naturals Cacao butter
  • 50g NUA Naturals Lucuma Powder
  • 50g NUA Naturals Cacao powder
  • 60g Nut Butter (Almond, peanut, or cashew etc.)

Instructions

  • To make the brownies, using a double boiler, melt 50g cacao butter
  • Once melted, transfer to a food processor with the remain brownie ingredients and blend until a dough forms.( you may need a few drops of water)
  • Roll out the brownie dough until it’s about 1/2 thick and cut into square.
  • Place brownies on a lined baking tray and pop them into the freezer.
  • To make the frosting, melt 50g of cacao butter using the same method as above.
  • Once melted, add the remaining frosting ingredients and whisk until you have a rich, smooth chocolate icing.
  • Remove the brownies from the freezer, drizzle generously with the chocolate frosting and place back into the freezer for 1-2 hours.
  • Before serving dust with cacao powder!
