Ingredients
- 300g Hazelnuts
- 50g NUA Naturals Cacao Powder
- 50g NUA Naturals Cacao Nibs
- 50g NUA Naturals Cacao Butter
- 50g NUA Naturals Lucuma Powder
- 50g Pitted Dates
- 60ml NUA Naturals Agave Nectar
For the dusting- 35g NUA Naturals Cacao powder
For the frosting- 120g NUA Naturals Cacao butter
- 50g NUA Naturals Lucuma Powder
- 50g NUA Naturals Cacao powder
- 60g Nut Butter (Almond, peanut, or cashew etc.)
Instructions
- To make the brownies, using a double boiler, melt 50g cacao butter
- Once melted, transfer to a food processor with the remain brownie ingredients and blend until a dough forms.( you may need a few drops of water)
- Roll out the brownie dough until it’s about 1/2 thick and cut into square.
- Place brownies on a lined baking tray and pop them into the freezer.
- To make the frosting, melt 50g of cacao butter using the same method as above.
- Once melted, add the remaining frosting ingredients and whisk until you have a rich, smooth chocolate icing.
- Remove the brownies from the freezer, drizzle generously with the chocolate frosting and place back into the freezer for 1-2 hours.
- Before serving dust with cacao powder!
