• 4 mashed bananas
  • 200g flour
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • Half tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 100g honey
  • 100g cacao nibs


  1. Preheat oven to 350F, Gas Mark 4 or 175C degrees
  2. In a large bowl, mash bananas and beat in egg and add honey.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together dry ingredients.
  4. Pour dry ingredients into large bowl with banana mixture and blend everything together.
  5. Fold in cacao nibs, leaving a small handful for the top.
  6. Once combined, pour into greased loaf pan and sprinkle the remaining cacao nibs on top.
  7. Bake for 50 minutes. Once the bread has cooled, serve and enjoy!You can get creative and add in Cacao powder, Chia seeds, or mixed nuts – whatever suits your tastes!
